Work it work it

So I have been part of slimming world for a little while now and since I am pregnant I am really just maintaining and focusing on being healthy and no slim does not equal healthy really but in my case I had to kick a lot of bad habits like my super high salt and sugar and transfat intake it was really bad I had a sugar addiction that I managed to get over thank God !! And I had a bad habit of using way too much salt on and in everything I ate. I also use to love greasy food and lots of butter on anything. So working on these three alone has drastically affected my weight. So I used to be size 12 but I’m more a tight size 10 now and I do not have an ideal weight target and I think that is the problem with diets etc that weight targets actually put us off rather I focus on healthy targets like eat x amount of fruit and veg per day or drink x amount of water etc. Simple changes I have made is change normal black tea with milk and yah like 4 teaspoons of sugar to green tea on its own, warm lemon water, chamomile tea of mornings with honey if I fancy something sweet. I exchanged any juice drinks from the shop or any fizzy drinks or sugary drinks with water or homemade juice that I drink fresh straight from the juicer mostly carrots and other fruits like beetroot and lemon with orange 🍊 these changes alone have made a big difference. I no longer use tons of salt and when I do use salt I use pink Himalayan salt or pure sea salt. I eat organic now and my main focus is being healthy not skinny I threw my scale away and really started reading about what is good for my body and what is good for my baby 👶🏽 So I do not want anyone reading my blog to think and be inspired to pursue skinniness I do not promote that because I was at a stage when all I wanted was to be skinny and I could not care less about my health give me any diet any supplements any slimming tea 🍵 give me anything!!! I would have taken it but it’s a wrong state of mind and it made me stress about my weight go on my scale daily which causef further stress and frustration. Now my goal is to be healthy and happy I’m blessed to have someone that loves me for me and whether I gain or lose weight I know he is my best friend which helped but I can imagine being single with the pressure from society etc it’s not good at all! Anyway with that said I have started pursuing Slimming world awards! So inly the activity awards not weight loss awards. I want to start with the Bronze award which will take one month to finish for 4 weeks I need to complete 15min or more of activity across 3 out of 7 days or more. It’s important for me to restrain my self because I want to go straight for gold but the key here is consistency and learning to have a delayed award because 4 weeks feels like ages but regardless of whether I do it or not the 4 weeks will pass so this challenge for me is more about discipline and consistency and sticking with a goal. If you want to take part in the challenge with me just go ahead! Your body will thank you for it! Oh yeah it can be any activity at all even housework counts lol I’m going to only use the stationary bike for this one and any additional walking, swimming, housework etc I will not count but my summer body will thank me for those ones lol Sooooo bronze award here we come!!!🥉 I already started mine but this is for you that want to join me so do not be surprised if I get mine first it’s just for motivation anyway 👍🏼
